Abdul G. Sheikh

Abdul G. Sheikh has extensive experience in the financial services industry. Abdul G. started their career at State Street in 1996, where they held various leadership roles, including Vice President and Head of Client Service & Relationship Management. Abdul G. was responsible for managing a team of over 180 people and overseeing operations, investment accounting, and client satisfaction. Abdul G. also served as a corporate board member for a State Street subsidiary. In 2014, Abdul joined CIBC Mellon as Vice President of Institutional Pension Accounting. In 2020, they were promoted to Vice President and Head of Fund and Portfolio Services.

Abdul G. Sheikh obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington in the years 1987 to 1989. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including the CAIA Charterholder in 2008 and the UniFi by CAIA™ Private Debt Microcredential from the CAIA Association in 2023. Abdul G. has also completed the CIBC Mellon Resilience Program from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in 2021 and the Introduction to Generative AI with GPT course from LinkedIn in 2023. Moreover, they possess a CAIA - Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst certification.
