James Thursfield

Vice President, Custody Services & Derivatives Operations at CIBC Mellon

James Thursfield has a solid work history in the financial industry. From 2006 to 2012, they worked at State Street as an Assistant Vice President. Following that, they joined State Street Alternative Investment Solutions as a Vice President from 2012 to 2018. Since 2018, James has been with CIBC Mellon, first serving as an AVP for Custody Services & Derivative Operations and then being promoted to Vice President in the same department.

James Thursfield earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University between 1992 and 1997. James also obtained the Canadian Securities Course certification in 1996.
