Amit Vasani

Amit Vasani is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the Power and Utilities sector, currently serving as Managing Director and Head of U.S. Power & Utilities at CIBC since November 2020. Prior to this, Amit held the position of Managing Director in Power & Utilities at Citi for over twenty years, focusing on large-cap utilities in North America and possessing deep expertise in Debt Capital Markets, Corporate Lending, Derivatives, Structured Finance, and Credit Analysis. Amit's career began as a Process Engineer at Ford Motor Company from September 1994 to April 2000. Amit holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan and both a BS and BE in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University and BVM, respectively.
