Flavia Lopes Monteiro

Flavia Lopes Monteiro, CFA, has extensive experience in leveraged finance, currently serving as Director at CIBC since February 2012. Throughout the tenure at CIBC, Flavia has held various positions, including Senior Manager for multiple teams focused on leveraged finance and mid-market operations, as well as Manager roles in both mid-market and independent business. Flavia began a career in finance as a Commercial Banking Associate. Prior to CIBC, Flavia worked as a Teacher Assistant at the University of Toronto. Flavia holds a Master of Financial Economics from the University of Toronto (2010-2012) and a Bachelor of Arts in Specialized Honours in Economics from York University (2006-2010).
