Hayley Peglar

Hayley Peglar is a legal professional with extensive experience in litigation and legal research. Currently serving as Senior Counsel at CIBC since March 2024, Hayley previously held the position of Partner at WeirFoulds LLP from August 2014 to March 2024, representing clients in a variety of estate, trust, and commercial litigation matters. Early career roles at WeirFoulds LLP included Litigation Associate, Student-at-Law, and Summer Student, alongside experience as a Student Case Worker at Downtown Legal Services, where Hayley represented low-income clients in family law matters. Hayley holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Political Studies and History from Queen's University.
