Krista Simonsen

Krista Simonsen, SHRM-SCP, SPHR has a diverse range of work experience in the field of human resources. Currently, they hold the position of Human Resources Director, Americas at CIBT, a role they have been in since July 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Human Resources Director, North America at CIBT from March 2022 to July 2023.

Before joining CIBT, Krista worked at the National 4-H Council where they held several roles. Krista started as a Human Resources Administrator in September 2012 and gradually progressed to become a Manager, Human Resources from February 2017 to June 2018. Later, they took on the role of Director, Human Resources from June 2018 to February 2020. From March 2020 to March 2022, they served as the Senior Director, Human Resources at the same company.

Krista also has experience working at Raffa, PC as an HR Generalist II, Managed HR Services from June 2016 to December 2016. Prior to that, they worked at Cultural Vistas as a Human Resources Manager from March 2015 to June 2016, a Human Resources Generalist from January 2014 to March 2015, and as a Human Resources Administrator from September 2012 to January 2014.

Their earlier experience includes a role as a Human Resources Coordinator at nfrastructure from September 2011 to September 2012, as well as an internship at the Replica Ship Half Moon & New Netherland Museum from May 2011 to August 2011.

Krista Simonsen, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and History from the University at Buffalo. Krista also obtained additional certifications, including the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM and the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI.
