Amir Sattarzadeh

Amir Sattarzadeh is a highly experienced professional in the field of plant biology and research, currently serving as Lead Research Advisor at Cibus since November 2021. Prior to this role, Amir held the position of Senior Research Scientist at Cibus US LLC from December 2014 to November 2021. Amir's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biology with a focus on Genetics from the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research in Cologne, Germany, completed between 2003 and 2007. Amir also obtained a Diplom (Master) in Biotechnology, Genetic Technology, and Plant Breeding, and a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy and Plant Breeding from Urmia University. Amir's earlier experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell University from January 2007 to November 2014.
