Carlo Broos

Carlo Broos has extensive work experience in finance and business development. Carlo served as the Vice President of Finance and Business Development at Cibus, where they played a key role in preparing for IPOs and managing analyst models. Carlo also led the successful M&A and integration of Calyxt through a reverse merger. Prior to Cibus, Broos worked as the Regional Head of Finance Services at Syngenta, overseeing accounting, reporting, and financial compliance for the company's agro-chemicals and seeds units in West Europe, Central Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Carlo also served as the CFO for Syngenta Benelux, responsible for all finance and IS management activities of the Crop Protection units in Holland and Belgium. Before joining Syngenta, Broos worked as the Group Controller at Advanta Group, where they coordinated reporting cycles and supported corporate finance activities. Carlo began their career as an Auditor at Deloitte.

Carlo Broos completed their Master of Science in Business Administration from Radboud University from 1989 to 1994. Subsequently, they pursued a post-master in Chartered Accountant at Tilburg University from 1995 to 1999, specializing in the field of study of RA/CPA.
