David Kendra

David Kendra currently holds the position of Executive Director - Disease Trait Development at Cibus since May 2022, previously serving as Senior Director - Pathology. Prior experience includes roles as Sr. Development Manager at BASF Plant Science LC from January 2015 to May 2022, and Owner of DFK Consulting, a firm specializing in agricultural R&D from February 2014 to January 2015. David's career also features significant contributions at PepsiCo as Senior Manager - Global Oat Agronomic Research, and at USDA-ARS as Research Leader of the Mycotoxin Research Unit, where management of multiple research projects focused on mycotoxins and plant diseases took place. Additional roles include Department Head at Syngenta Seeds and Sandoz Seeds, and Research Scientist at Enimont, with a robust educational background comprising a PhD in Plant Pathology from Washington State University and dual BS degrees in Chemistry and Biology from PennWest California.
