Iris A. Bermejo

Iris A. Bermejo is a dedicated researcher with extensive experience in the fields of organic chemistry and photochemistry. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at CIC bioGUNE since September 2023, Iris previously held the position of Marie Curie Postdoctoral Researcher at Universität Wien from September 2020 to August 2023. Prior to that, Iris worked at Universidad de La Rioja, managing projects related to organic sunscreen molecules and engaging in research focusing on carbohydrate chemistry and unnatural amino acids synthesis. At ARLUY S.L.U. BISCUIT INTERNATIONAL, Iris contributed to the development and quality assurance of biscuit products as an R&D Project Manager Assistant and Quality Assurance professional. Educational background includes a Doctorate in Biological Chemistry from Universidad de La Rioja and various advanced degrees in chemistry from notable institutions such as Queen's University Belfast.
