Liliana Teixeira is a biochemist currently employed at iLoF - Intelligent Lab on Fiber since December 2022. Previously, Liliana served as a postdoctoral scholar at UT Southwestern Medical Center from August 2021 to August 2022, focusing on the molecular mechanisms of WNK protein kinases as potential drug targets for triple negative breast cancer. Teaching experience includes a role at Sapienti - Cambridge International School, where classes in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics were delivered at IGCSE, AS, and A levels from June 2020 to June 2021. Liliana completed a PhD at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, specializing in the biochemical and structural characterization of c-type cytochromes from "Geobacter sulfurreducens." Additional experience encompasses a training period at Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas and volunteer work at Ghent University. Liliana holds multiple degrees in biotechnology, including a PhD from NOVA School of Science and Technology, and has studied at Ghent University and Universidade de Aveiro.
