Asako Fuji

Asako Fuji has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Asako began their career as an Accountant at Banque Paribas in Tokyo branch from April 1985 to July 1988. Asako then joined Westpac Banking Co, Tokyo Branch as an Economic Assistant from August 1988 to July 1992, where they were responsible for issuing newsletters on the Australian economy, providing statistics and analysis on the Japanese economy, and assisting with PR activities.

Asako then moved on to Watlow Japan, where they served as an Accounting Manager from February 2000 to January 2010. Following that, they worked at The Mathworks GK as a Senior Accountant from February 2010 to October 2014. Asako then joined Arkadin Japan as a Finance Manager from March 2015 to September 2015.

In November 2015, they joined Qlik Japan as a Controller, and they held the position for over four years until April 2020, during which they oversaw financial control for Japan and Korea. Their most recent role was as a Financial Controller at CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center) Japan, starting in April 2020.

Asako Fuji completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Affairs at Tsuda University from 1981 to 1985. In 2012, they also obtained the US CPA Pass certification from the State of Alaska.
