Ignacio Tovar

Ignacio Tovar has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Ignacio is currently the Co-CEO & Co-Founder of Cicada Technologies Inc. since December 2020. Prior to that, from April 2018 to December 2020, they served as the Líder de Comité at AMITI A.C. At Tecnológico de Monterrey, they held the position of Head of the Department, Design School from August 2018 to November 2020. Ignacio also has experience as the Director of Futurologi from July 2015 to November 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Partner and Consultant at Steed from November 2015 to August 2018 and as an Innovation Manager at MicrobotiX from June 2015 to February 2016. Ignacio's previous roles also include Project Manager, Chief Strategist & Storyteller at Ronin PR from August 2014 to July 2015, and Project Manager & Local Lead at FuckUp Nights Global from December 2013 to March 2015.

Ignacio Tovar holds an Engineer's degree in Mechatronics, which they obtained from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Ignacio completed this degree program between 2010 and 2015. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained an MSc in Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management from Imperial College Business School. Ignacio attended this program from 2016 to 2017, specializing in the field of Innovation, Administration, and Business Management.
