Vice President, Community And Stakeholder Engagement To Promote Health Equity at CAI (Cicatelli Associates Inc)

Maisha Drayton, MS has a diverse work experience in the field of community and stakeholder engagement to promote health equity. Maisha recently served as the Vice President at CAI, where they played a vital role in engaging and mobilizing marginalized communities for the implementation of innovative interventions that address social determinants of health. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Community and Stakeholder Engagement at CAI, where they provided direction, management, and training for the community engagement portfolio. Additionally, Maisha worked as the Deputy Director of Community Mobilization and Capacity Building, Teen Pregnancy Prevention at CAI, where they facilitated relationships with community agencies and partners to reduce teen pregnancy in Buffalo. Before joining CAI, they held leadership roles at The Evergreen Association of Western New York, Inc. and Evergreen Health Services, Inc., where they oversaw staff development and directed the Center for Behavioral Health, respectively. Maisha's work experience reflects their commitment to promoting health equity and fostering positive community engagement.

Maisha Drayton, MS, obtained a Master's Degree in Creative Studies from Buffalo State University, where they attended from 2007 to 2009. Prior to their postgraduate studies, they completed their Bachelor's Degree at Buffalo State University from 2000 to 2002. Additionally, Maisha Drayton holds certifications, including a Certified Appreciative Inquiry Facilitator certification from the Center for Appreciative Inquiry, which they obtained in December 2022. Maisha also earned a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021.
