Molly Alig has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Molly started their career in 2010 at the Doula Project and ArborBridge, where they worked as a Full-Spectrum Doula and Marketing & Training Coordinator, and as a Learning Differences Specialist & Educator, respectively. In 2012, they joined Planned Parenthood of New York City as a Counselor and Health Educator, and later in 2017, they became a Trainer and Project Director for Sexual and Reproductive Health Programs at CAI (Cicatelli Associates Inc). Additionally, Molly worked as an Educator for the Career Development Program from 2013 to 2016, a Research Coordinator at the Center for Latino Adolescent and Family Health in 2015, and finally as a Doula and Community Educator at Inwood House from 2010 to 2012.

Molly Alig obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Women's Studies and Pre-Health from Barnard College, Columbia University in 2010. Molly then pursued further education and completed their Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree with a focus on Population and Family Health at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health from 2014 to 2016. Molly also obtained additional certifications, including being American Red Cross CPR certified and being trained as a birth and post-partum doula by DONA.
