Maria Wilson is currently the Medical Advisor at CICOA. Prior to this, they worked as the Social Service Director at American Senior Communities, where they were responsible for assessing residents' psychosocial needs and developing care plans. Maria has also interned with the Alzheimer's Association Greater Indiana Chapter, where they promoted Alzheimer's awareness and implemented special projects. Maria began their career as a Patient Care Technician at Lafayette Regional Rehabilitation Hospital.
Maria Wilson has a Master's degree in Social Work from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, a Bachelor of Science in Human Development, Family Studies, and Related Services from Purdue University, and a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist from Purdue University Fort Wayne. Maria also has a Diploma in Academic Honors from Fremont High School. Maria is certified as a Licensed Master Social Worker by the ASWB - Association of Social Work Boards and as a Master Social Worker by Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.
