Adriana R. Cruz A.

Adriana R. Cruz A. is an experienced dermatologist with a holistic and integrative approach to patient care, currently managing a private practice since July 2004. Since November 2019, Adriana has contributed as a medical volunteer with Mision Pais Voluntarios, organizing medical brigades in neglected regions of Colombia. In parallel, Adriana serves as an invited speaker for L'Oréal's Vichy events, enhancing the knowledge of dermatologists and sales teams about cosmeceuticals. An associate researcher at CIDEIM since 2004, Adriana has led projects on sexually transmitted diseases and tropical dermatological conditions. Recently appointed as Treasurer for the Asociación Colombiana de Dermatología y Cirugía Dermatológica, Adriana continues to engage in academia, having obtained multiple diplomas in dermatology and an integrative dermatology certificate in 2023. Educational background includes a medical degree and a dermatology residency from Universidad del Valle, along with a postdoctoral research fellowship at The University of Connecticut Health Center.
