Gabriele di Piazza

Gabriele Di Piazza currently serves as the Vice President of Products, Alliances & Architectures for BluePlanet at Ciena and is a member of the Technology Advisory Board at MEF Forum. With prior experience as Senior Director at Google overseeing Telecom Products & Solutions, and Vice President at VMware managing Telco & Edge Cloud initiatives, Gabriele has consistently driven innovation in telecommunications and cloud infrastructure. Previous advisory roles include positions at Cellwize, AIRLINQ, and GigaSpaces Technologies, alongside leadership at Guavus and Hewlett-Packard. Gabriele holds a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering with a focus on Telecom Networks from Politecnico di Milano.
