Julio Tejera

Julio Tejera is an experienced program and project manager specializing in security operations and cyber security, currently serving as the Lead Program and Project Manager at Ciena since December 2022. Previously, Julio held multiple leadership roles at Blackbaud from August 2021 to December 2022, focusing on aligning Agile practices and enhancing project delivery within the Cyber Security Organization. With a strong background in Agile and Scrum methodologies, Julio transformed the Student Information Systems team at the University of South Florida during a tenure from December 2011 to August 2021, where roles included Senior Product Owner and Senior Business Analyst. Julio began the career as a Senior Technician, demonstrating expertise in hardware and software troubleshooting. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of South Florida.
