Nay Newell

Nay Newell has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, primarily with Ciena since March 2010, where current responsibilities include serving as Senior Director of Service Sales for the Americas Strategic Solution Sales team, focusing on complex outcome-based solution sales for advanced services. Previous roles at Ciena include Director of Service Sales and Global Practice Leader for Network Transformation Solutions, where Nay managed sales teams and served as a subject matter expert for large Tier 1 and 2 customers. Prior to Ciena, Nay worked at Nortel from January 2001 to March 2010 as an Optical Sales Engineer and Network Engineer, specializing in the design and pricing of SONET and DWDM optical networks, along with providing technical support. Nay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
