Steven Coral has over 30 years of experience in financial and operational management within the technology sector. Currently serving as the Financial and Operations Business Manager for Ciena's GCC Program Management Office, Steven oversees a budget exceeding $60 million and is responsible for resource planning, supplier management, and cost reduction initiatives. Previously, as Sr. Manager/Director at Ciena, Steven led project teams through the successful acquisition of Nortel’s Optical Networking division, significantly increasing staff and transitioning operations. Steven's tenure at Nortel included roles as Manager/Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Manager of Global Enterprise Technical Support Business Operations Analysis, where expertise in budgeting and team management was demonstrated. Earlier in Steven's career at Welsh Consulting, strategic direction was provided to network engineering teams, enhancing client solutions. Steven holds a BS in Electrical and Structural Engineering from Boston University.
