Vicki Leavy

Vicki Leavy, PMP, currently serves as the Director of IT Business Applications at Ciena since July 2020. With a strong background in project and program management, Vicki previously held the position of Chief of the Program Management Office at Anne Arundel County, overseeing projects across various county initiatives from June 2019 to July 2020. Vicki's experience includes roles as Program Manager at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and Anne Arundel County, focusing on HCM application assessments and vendor management. Prior positions involved consulting on cloud migration programs at Vision Technology Services and directing project management efforts at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, managing large-scale corporate initiatives and software upgrades. Vicki's career began as the owner of Cornerstone Systems Inc. of Maryland, delivering ERP solutions across multiple sectors. Vicki holds a BS in Computer Science from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
