Bsn Allyson Bakewell

Allyson Bakewell, BSN, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Allyson began their career as a Registered Nurse at Emory University Hospital in 1981 before moving on to work as an Implementation Specialist at McKesson in 1985. From 1987 to 1992, they worked at Deloitte as a Manager, focusing on management consulting and developing recruiting and retention programs for nurses. Allyson then held various roles at the Medical Needs Foundation from 2003 to 2010, starting as a Board member and later becoming the President. At Saint Clare's Health System, Allyson served as a Nurse Recruiter from 2010 to 2012 and as an HR Business Partner from 2012 to 2013, where they provided guidance on workforce planning, compensation, and talent management. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as an Outpatient Recruiter at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, leading talent acquisition for a new Outpatient Center. Currently, Allyson is the Director of Talent Acquisition at Ciena Healthcare since 2016.

Allyson Bakewell holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from the University of Virginia. Prior to that, they pursued an Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance and Marketing from the Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from HRCI in October 2020. Moreover, they are a registered nurse in the states of Michigan, New Jersey, and Virginia.
