Ciência Viva
Dora Dias is an accomplished Project Officer at Ciência Viva since July 2022, where responsibilities include content creation for the Zig Zag Podcast and science outreach activities. Previously, Dora served as a Museum Guide at the Museu Nacional de História Natural e de Ciência, providing mediation for the exhibition "Variações Naturais." Experience as a Life Science Writer at Scite - Science Crunchers involved writing for the news section, while earlier roles included sales promotion and event hosting with SpringEvents. Dora's educational background encompasses a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics, an MSc in Biopharmaceutical Sciences with a focus on Molecular Biology and Cardiovascular Disease, and ongoing PhD studies in Teaching and Dissemination of Science at Universidade do Porto. Additional training includes participation in a virtual workshop series at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
Ciência Viva
We support science education projects and organize placements for secondary students in research laboratories. We also organize public campaigns to promote science and technology and have set up a network of interactive science centres -Ciência Viva Centres Network.
