Amanda Calkins

Amanda Calkins, M.Ed., currently serves as a Middle School Science Teacher and Technology Coordinator at Vail School District, a role held since June 2015. In addition to teaching, Amanda is involved in several initiatives including the Edtech Leadership Team, Cognitive, Math, Literacy, and EdTech Coaching, as well as participation in the Student Solutions Team and the Vail Pride Day Committee. Previously, Amanda worked as an Elementary School Teacher, contributing as a member of the Student Solutions Team, Literacy Coach, and advisor for both the Engineering and Coding Clubs. Amanda holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona.
