Nicola Pirri

Nicola Pirri has extensive experience in the field of R&D and operations. Nicola worked as the Head of R&D and Operations at Cifa Spa, a concrete machinery company, starting in October 2018. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of R&D and After-Sales at CIFA from January 2015 to October 2018. In this role, they managed the Design, Research, and Testing Center, as well as the R&D and After-Sales Budget Cost and Investments. Nicola was also responsible for product safety and intellectual property through patent portfolios and applications. Prior to joining CIFA, Nicola worked at CIFA Spa where they served as Head of R&D and Design. In this role, they managed design and research activities, R&D budget, and research contracts with universities and research centers. Before that, they held the role of Head of Research, where they focused on calculation and testing, particularly in the areas of new product structural calculation and materials expertise. Nicola's early career included a position as a Structural Engineer at AgustaWestland, where they specialized in dynamic calculations and finite element analysis for helicopters.

Nicola Pirri completed a Master's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management at SDA Bocconi in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, which they completed between 1991 and 1997.
