Suyanto is the Economic and Policy Analysis Unit Leader at the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF), a position held since 1994. Currently, Suyanto also serves as the Research Group Leader for Green Value Chain, Integrated Business Model, and Innovative Financing at CIFOR-ICRAF since 2022. Suyanto earned a BSc in Agricultural Economics from Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) in 1985, followed by an MSc in Agricultural Economics from Iowa State University in 1992, and a PhD in Natural Resource Economics from Tokyo Metropolitan University in 2000.
