Maureen O'Neil is the President at the Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement (CFHI), a position held since 2008 where they have shifted the organization’s focus towards healthcare improvement, making it a leader in innovation and coalition-building in the sector. O'Neil has served on various boards, including the Centre for the Study of Living Standards and the Canadian International Council, while previously holding significant roles such as Secretary General with the Canadian Human Rights Commission and President of the International Development Research Centre. In recognition of their contributions to public service, O'Neil was named an Officer of the Order of Canada in June 2011. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Sociology at Carleton University.
