Kelsey Boyd is a dedicated professional with a focus on public health, community engagement, and environmental justice. Currently serving as a Resident Advisor Mentor at UNC Carolina Housing, Kelsey provides support and training for fellow Resident Advisors while overseeing the community development of over 40 residents. As the Director of Environmental Justice for A Better Chance, A Better Community (ABC2), Kelsey connects underserved communities with essential resources and fosters strategic partnerships for community empowerment. Kelsey has also gained experience in sales and account management at UnitedHealth Group, where a comprehensive market analysis was conducted for healthcare plans. Previous roles include serving as a Public Healthcare Educator Assistant and an Energy Democracy Leadership Institute Fellow, advocating for health and environmental solutions. Kelsey is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy and Management at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
