Rich Walton

Rich Walton has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Rich began their career in 1999 as a Desktop Support intern at Hartford Public High School, where they gained skills in troubleshooting software errors and installing operating systems and applications. In 2006, they joined The Hartford and worked as a Security Operations specialist, providing user access support for various systems. Rich also served as a Service Desk Consultant, resolving customer IT issues and requests. In 2012, Rich joined Cigna as a Data Analyst, performing data analysis and creating solution designs. Rich then progressed to roles in Information Protection, where they integrated teams, implemented security products, and managed staffing and IT skills assessment. In 2022, they became the Director of Cyber Security at Cigna. Rich has a strong background in cybersecurity and IT operations.

Rich Walton attended Goodwin College from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Computer Science.
