Justin Barreto has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Justin began their career as a Project Assistant at Blacksmith Music/Warner Records, where they assisted project managers in the execution of events for artists and managed the company's merchandise. In 2012, they became a Staffing Coordinator at TheraCare, where they assessed the staffing needs of daily referrals and coordinated Early Intervention services rendered by licensed clinicians. In 2015, they joined Oscar Insurance as a Care Guide, providing support to members through phone and email support, investigating member benefits, claims, prescriptions and eligibility. In 2017, they became a Customer Experience Associate at quip., providing support to current and prospective customers through email and social channels. In 2018, they joined TrialSpark as a Senior Patient Experience Associate, Patient Operations and Patient Experience Associate. Most recently, in 2020, they began working as a Patient Onboarding at Ciitizen.

Justin Barreto attended Queens College from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies. In 2018, they enrolled in Bloc's Web Developer Track, which they completed in 2019.
