Gabriel Theron

Gabriel Theron is an experienced entrepreneur and business leader, currently serving as the CEO and Founder of Cilo Cybin since 2018, the first company listed on the JSE focused on cannabis and psychedelics within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Prior to this, Gabriel acted as CEO of South African Forestry Company SOC Limited from 2015 to 2017, overseeing one of Africa's largest forestry enterprises. Gabriel also founded Prosperosa360, a digital tourism agency, and co-founded Luuk ICT, an R&D startup in the ICT sector. Gabriel's career commenced in auditing at The South African Breweries, providing a strong foundation in various business operations. Educational qualifications include an Honours degree in Internal Audit and a BCOM Degree in Informatics, both obtained from the University of Pretoria.
