Shane Mattiske

Shane Mattiske has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Shane is currently the Executive Chairman at Newcastle Jets Football Club since January 2021. Before that, they served as a Director at CIM starting from December 2020. Prior to their role at CIM, Shane worked as the Principal at MEDIAS Consulting from January 2019 onwards.

From 2016 to 2018, they held the position of Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand, Nielsen Sports at Nielsen. Before that, they were the Co-Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand at Repucom from July 2015 to June 2016.

Shane worked as an Independent Consultant at Medias Consulting from July 2014 to July 2015. Shane has also held various roles at the National Rugby League (NRL) including Head of Strategy & Investment from February 2013 to June 2014, Interim CEO from June 2012 to February 2013, and Director, Strategy & Special Projects from June 2003 to June 2012.

Earlier in their career, Shane worked as a Consultant at Open Logic from March 1999 to June 2002. Shane started their professional journey at EY, where they served as the Manager, Entrepreneurial Services from January 1990 to March 1999.

Shane Mattiske completed their education with a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University in 1991. Later, they pursued a Master of Commerce from the same university between 1993 and 1995. Shane then obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Technology Sydney from 1998 to 2000. Unfortunately, the specific field of study for each degree is not provided.
