Jean-Michel Julien P.eng.

Jean-Michel Julien P.Eng., M.Eng., PMP is a seasoned professional in the field of hydraulic engineering, currently serving as a Partner and Project Director at CIMA+ since August 2024. In addition to this role, Jean-Michel has been a University Lecturer at École Polytechnique de Montréal since January 2018, teaching a course on Hydraulic Turbines. Previously, Jean-Michel held the position of Vice President at GTA HYDRO inc., a consulting firm focused on hydraulic turbines and generators, from May 2016 to August 2024. Other notable experiences include working as a Proposal Manager at Voith Hydro, a Project Engineer and Business Development Lead at Hatch, and a Turbine-Generator Engineer at AECOM. Jean-Michel holds a Master’s Degree in Energy Engineering (Hydropower Option) and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal.
