Elnaz Darian

Elnaz Darian, P.E., P.Eng has a strong background in engineering, with experience spanning over a decade. Elnaz currently holds the position of Director of Engineering - USA at CIMCO Refrigeration Inc., a role they have held since April 2022. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing engineering operations in the United States.

Prior to their current position, Elnaz served as the Capital Project Sales representative for Ontario at CIMCO Refrigeration Inc. from June 2021 to April 2022. Elnaz'sresponsibilities included developing new projects for clients in the Industrial Refrigeration Industry, working closely with customers and consultants to design customized refrigeration systems, and managing sales opportunities.

Before their sales role, Elnaz was the Team Lead - Project Engineer at CIMCO Refrigeration Inc. from January 2018 to June 2021. In this position, they supervised and led a team of engineers and designers, ensuring successful engineering design and execution of capital projects.

Elnaz also has experience as a Refrigeration Project Engineer at CIMCO Refrigeration Inc. from September 2015 to January 2018. In this role, they oversaw and executed various aspects of refrigeration projects, ranging in value from $100,000 to $10,000,000. Elnaz designed systems based on refrigeration codes and regulatory requirements.

Earlier in their career, Elnaz worked as a Product Engineer at CIMCO Refrigeration Inc. from August 2010 to September 2015. Elnaz'sresponsibilities included preparing 3D SolidWorks models and flow diagrams, confirming component selections, and designing routes and piping to refrigeration standards.

Prior to joining CIMCO Refrigeration Inc., Elnaz worked as an Application Engineering (EIT) at SKF Canada in 2008.

Throughout their career, Elnaz has demonstrated strong leadership skills, project management abilities, and expertise in the field of refrigeration engineering.

Elnaz Darian, P.E., P.Eng, holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ryerson University, which was completed in 2008. In 2010, they obtained a Certificate in Mechanical Engineering Design from Metro College of Technology. Additionally, they have acquired various certifications, including the Mechanical Integrity Certificate from The International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration in 2023, the IIAR 2 - 2014 Certificate from the same institution, and the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the State of Nevada in 2022. Elnaz Darian is also recognized as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) by Professional Engineers Ontario since 2014. Elnaz has participated in the Industrial Refrigeration Workshop offered by The International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration in 2014. Moreover, they hold the Engineers Canada certification for International Mobility of Engineers in accordance with the International Professional Engineers Agreement (IPEA) and the APEC Engineering Agreement, obtained in 2022.
