Michael Bennett

Michael Bennett, P.Eng. is a seasoned control systems engineering professional with extensive experience in the refrigeration and automation sectors. Currently serving as the Control Systems Team Lead for Canada West at CIMCO Refrigeration Inc. since April 2016, Michael has successfully led a team of six engineers, guiding them in the implementation of complex projects. Prior roles include Control Systems Engineer at DCD Engineering Ltd., where Michael utilized PLC programming and HMI design to streamline pipeline control systems, and KUKA Robot Programmer at Unitray Systems Inc., enhancing robot program reliability. Michael's engineering background is supported by a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta, complemented by various internships that include QA Test Platform Developer at Broadcom and Assistant to Project Manager at ATCO Electric.
