William Kimenyi

William Kimenyi is an experienced HSSE Manager currently at National Cement Factory since August 2024, having previously served in the same capacity at Primecement (PCL) Ltd. from November 2023 to August 2024. At Primecement, William established a clear vision for health and safety focusing on behavior-based safety, leading to a positive safety culture and cost reductions. Prior to that, William worked at CIMERWA PPC from April 2015 to December 2023, where significant contributions included ensuring a safety culture, initiating the Cimerwa Integrated Management System for ISO certifications, and developing numerous safety procedures. William's career also includes roles as Safety Coordinator and Health and Safety Officer at CIMERWA, where foundational safety protocols were established. Earlier experience includes serving as Country Post Graduate One Health Coordinator with One Health Approach, enhancing knowledge through international certifications. William holds a degree in Environmental Health and Epidemiology from the University of Rwanda and has pursued further education with NEBOSH.
