Michael K. Ndegwa

Michael K. Ndegwa is an experienced researcher and project manager with a strong academic background in Development Economics, evidenced by a PhD from the University of Greenwich. Currently an Associate Research Scientist at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT), Michael has previously held roles as a Research Associate at CIMMYT and a Consultant Research Associate, where expertise included conducting household surveys and data analysis. Michael's earlier experience includes leading youth empowerment projects at St. John's Community Centre and managing a food security project for the Rural Education and Economic Enhancement Programme. Michael holds a Master's degree in Project Planning and Management and a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Extension and Education from the University of Nairobi.
