Scarlet Ferrinho is currently an OMICS Research Scientist (KTP Associate) at both the University of Surrey and Waters Corporation, where responsibilities include the application and validation of a new OMICS workflow focused on enhancing the understanding of disease processes in prostate cancer. Previously, Scarlet completed a PhD at the University of St Andrews, investigating cyanobacterial natural products, and held various roles ranging from Test Processor during the COVID-19 pandemic to Field Researcher at Archipelagos Institute of Marine Conservation. Additional experience includes internships in pharmacy and compliance analysis, as well as early jobs in the hospitality sector. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Natural Products from the University of St Andrews and a Postgraduate Certificate in Researcher Professional Development from the University of Strathclyde.
