Xiaoliu Xu

Xiaoliu (Sue) Xu is a Senior Statistical Analyst at Eli Lilly and Company, effective July 2023, managing FDA requests and deploying advanced statistical models in diabetes care. Concurrently, as a Data Scientist at CIMS Global since July 2022, Xu leads the development of an automated trial-patient matching system, implementing complex algorithms for healthcare metadata. At The Ohio State University, involvement spans various roles, including Project Leader, where investigations focus on corporate pollution and the effects of ISO 14001 adoption, alongside teaching roles that emphasize practical applications of complex economic and econometric models. Xu's prior experiences include a research team member position at The Erdos Institute Data Science Boot Camp and a research assistant role at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, complemented by a PhD in Applied Economics and a Master's in Economics.
