Herman Phillips

Herman Phillips is the Co-Founder and COO of Cinapse, an app for the entire crew, cast, and studio to manage their work on film & television productions. Herman has over 10 years of experience in the industry, working as a line producer, managing the scheduling, budgeting, crew hiring, logistics, and on-set operations of 50+ commercials, training videos, music videos, and short films for global telecommunications companies, emerging musicians and filmmakers, and non-profit organizations.

Most recently, Herman was an additional set production assistant on THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT for Lucasfilm. Herman was also a key set production assistant on EUPHORIA Special Episode for HBO. Herman has also worked on set for THE MANDALORIAN S2 for Lucasfilm and INSECURE S4 and SILICON VALLEY S6 for HBO.

Herman Phillips is a graduate of the University of South Carolina Honors College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Studies. Herman is also a participant in the Winter 2022 Batch at Y Combinator, an American technology startup accelerator responsible for early stage funding at companies such as Airbnb, DoorDash, Coinbase, Instacart, Dropbox, Twitch, Reddit, and many more. As part of their participation in the Winter 2022 Batch, Herman Phillips has received $500,000 in funding from Y Combinator.
