John Cavanaugh is currently the Executive Director and Privacy Evangelist for the Plunk Foundation, where they lead efforts to develop digital safety technology and serve over 30 million individuals. With a strong academic background, John is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Cincinnati and holds both a Bachelor’s of Science and a Bachelor of Arts from the same institution. Previously, John served as a Board Member at ARACHNID and has held roles such as Program Manager for AI Risk, Safety, & Privacy at Cincinnati AI Catalyst and Graduate Researcher at AI Bio Lab, showcasing a commitment to responsible AI practices and community well-being.
