Javier Diaz has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Javier started their career in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as an Infantry Officer and received recognition for their leadership and rescue missions. After leaving the military, they worked as a Senior Director at the Palms Casino Resort, overseeing guest services and acting as a liaison between various operations. Javier then transitioned to roles in the legal field, working as a Legal Clerk at Knight Capital Group and as a Summer Associate at McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP, where they conducted research and composed memoranda in multiple areas of law. Javier continued their legal career as a Judicial Clerk at the New Jersey Supreme Court, where they played a vital role in researching and drafting memoranda for the Court's decision-making process. Javier also worked as a Senior Counsel at the Office of the Governor in New Jersey, negotiating complex legislation and leading the consolidation of two state entities. In 2016, they joined Gibbons P.C. as a Senior Counsel, focusing on business and government affairs. Most recently, they have been involved in the healthcare industry, holding roles at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, including Vice President of the Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute, Director of 340B Operations, and Counsel and Corporate Compliance Officer.

Javier Diaz attended St. Peter's Prep from 1991 to 1995. Javier then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in International Relations with a focus on Political Science from the University of Michigan between 1995 and 1999. Later, Javier pursued a JD degree at Seton Hall University School of Law from 2009 to 2012. In 2014 and 2015, they attended UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, where they completed a Master's degree in Business Administration specializing in Corporate Strategy.
