Julia Leary

Julia Leary has a diverse work experience in the field of nursing. Julia started their career as a Nursing Instructor at the University of Tennessee at Martin, where they taught associate degree nursing students and was responsible for various teaching and administrative tasks. Julia then worked as a Nurse Coordinator for the Pigmented Lesion Center at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center before becoming a Nursing Instructor at Harper College. At Harper College, they supervised and evaluated nursing students in clinical and practical laboratory settings.

After their time at Harper College, Julia transitioned to working as a Licensed School Nurse in the Kings Local School District. Julia planned and implemented school health services, conducted health education programs, and mentored nursing students from local universities. Julia then moved on to the Princeton City School District, where they served as a Licensed School Nurse and played a key role in obtaining funding for the district's Electronic Health Record program.

Following their work in school nursing, Julia worked as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at The Children's Home of Cincinnati, providing psychiatric care to children. Most recently, they have been working at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the APP (Advanced Practice Provider) Program Lead for School Based/Community Services.

Additionally, they hold a National School Nurse Certification obtained in August 2004.
