Pedal Miranda

Pedal Miranda is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in education, community organizing, and the arts. Currently serving as an English Second Language Instructor at Cincinnati Public Schools, Pedal designs and implements curricula for elementary students while providing targeted support for newcomers. Previous roles include Healing Justice Leader at Release Aging People in Prison, where Pedal facilitated support groups, and Community and Adult Programs Manager at the Contemporary Arts Center, overseeing various adult programs and collaborating with artists. Additional experience encompasses positions as a Senior Client Advocate/Paralegal, where advocacy for incarcerated individuals was a primary focus, and creative roles such as Creative Section Editor for Boilerplate Magazine and Assistant Curator of Public Education at the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center. Pedal holds a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies/Affairs from Vassar College and has engaged in educational initiatives through programs such as the SIT Nicaragua and the American Museum of Natural History.
