Heather Farrington

Curator Of Zoology at CINCINNATI MUSEUM CENTER

Heather Farrington is the Curator of Zoology at the Cincinnati Museum Center, a position held since December 2015, where management of preserved animal collections is the primary responsibility. Heather has previous experience as a Research and Outreach Coordinator at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, focusing on enhancing public engagement, and as a Research Biologist for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, developing eDNA assays for species monitoring. Earlier roles include serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Cincinnati, and a Study Analyst at WIL Research Laboratories, conducting toxicology studies. Heather's educational background includes a PhD in Biology from the University of Cincinnati and a BS in Biology and Business Administration from the University of Mount Union.
