Thom Meyer

Thom Meyer is an experienced museum professional currently serving as Artifact Manager at Corbin Railway Museum since May 2017, where responsibilities include managing the collection and assisting in museum development. In parallel, Thom works as a Special Exhibit Specialist at Cincinnati Museum Center, ensuring guest engagement and providing interpretation for special exhibitions. Thom has previously held roles such as Exhibit Intern at Behringer-Crawford Museum, where collaboration focused on designing an exhibit related to immigration and food culture, and intern positions at The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and Museum of the African Diaspora, contributing to exhibit design and educational program development. Thom holds a Master’s Degree in Public/Applied History from Northern Kentucky University and a Bachelor’s Degree in African-American/Black Studies/Anthropology/History from Miami University.
