Melissa Sabo

School Program Manager at Cincinnati Nature Center

Melissa Sabo is an experienced educator with a robust background in early childhood education and environmental education. Currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Cincinnati since July 2022, Melissa is responsible for designing a new course focused on early childhood teaching through a naturalist lens. As the School Program Manager at Cincinnati Nature Center since August 2011, Melissa has developed and implemented schoolyard native plant gardens, managed field trip programs, and conducted teacher workshops while enhancing partnerships with Cincinnati Public Schools. Previous roles include Early Education Director at Stepping Stones Center, where Melissa led an early childhood program for children with disabilities, and Assistant Manager at blue manatee children's bookstore, where responsibilities included book selection and event organization. A graduate of Miami University with a Master of Arts in Teaching, Melissa also holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Ball State University.
