School Program Manager: Operations Lead at United Methodist Family Services Of Virginia

Dominick Porter M.S.Ed. has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. Dominick started their career as a Deutsche Volleyball-Bundesliga player for VC Dresden from 2008 to 2010. Dominick then transitioned to playing as a right side hitter for USA Volleyball from 2011 to 2012. In 2013, Dominick became the Men's Volleyball Head Coach at Eastern Mennonite University, a position they held until 2016. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Special Education Teacher at Liberty Point Behavioral Healthcare, LLC. In 2019, they became a School Program Manager/Admin at Charterhouse School, where they managed the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational and behavioral services. Currently, Dominick is working at UMFS as the School Program Manager: Operations Lead.

Dominick Porter M.S.Ed. first attended Eastern Mennonite University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences. In 2005 and 2006, they also obtained two French language certificates, an Accelerated French language certificate from Institut Biblique du Bénin Cotonou in Benin, and an Advanced French language certificate from L'Institut Européen de Français in Montpelier, France.

Later, from 2016 to 2018, Dominick pursued further education at Mary Baldwin University, where they earned a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in Special Education and Teaching. Finally, in 2018 and 2019, they attended Walden University and earned a Master of Science in Education degree with a specialization in Teacher Leadership.
