Lynn Smith

Lynn Smith is the current Major Gifts Officer at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Lynn has held this position since April of 2022. Prior to this, Lynn was the Director of Development for Girl Scouts of Western Ohio from August of 2020 to April of 2022. Before that, they were the Development Director for MELODIC CONNECTIONS INCORPORATED from August of 2014 to November of 2015. Lynn has also been a Development Director for Melodic Connections from January of 2014 to August of 2020. In addition, Lynn has also been a Kindermusik Educator for Kindermusik International from January of 2004 to May of 2015. Lastly, Lynn was an Equity Partner and Senior Strategy Consultant for HSR Business to Business (Currnetly GYRO Worldwide) from September of 1994 to June of 2000.

Lynn Smith has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Northern Kentucky University, and an Associate of Arts in Music from Thomas More University. Lynn also has a Certification in Trauma Responsive Care from Tri-State Trauma Network and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) from CFRE International.

Lynn Smith reports to Bethany Doverspike, Director of Development. Lynn Smith works with Kendra L. Struthers - Director of Donor Relations, Mackenzie Duan - Development Intern, and Mary Kay Koehler - Director of Institutional Giving.
